PUENTE DE ESPERANZA MADRID is a Non-Governmental Association, non-profit and Public utility (order INT / 2286/2014), recognized by Ministerial Order and registered in the National Registry of Associations under number 608445.
The Puente de Esperanza Madrid Association began its journey in November 2005, as a result of the initiative of a group of women from different religious congregations, who wanted to give a joint response to the precarious reality of the immigrant community in the Tetuán neighborhood.
We work to transform our environment in order to build a more just society. This is the mission we share.
Beyond the care and services to our users, we want to be bridges that encourage hope and allow the passage to a more fraternal world with opportunities for all. We want to help the most vulnerable people on their way, reinforce their human dignity and promote their sociocultural and labor promotion to facilitate their inclusion in our plural reality. In this vision we unite our dreams.
We work welcoming from respect and personal encounter. We put the person at the center of all our actions, with an attitude of listening and empathy. We want to accompany and empower the person, not replace them in their decisions.
We seek to network with other entities, convinced that with the effort and capabilities of all we will go further.
